Ingredients:
1 Cinnamon stick
6 - 7 Cloves
Saffron | Saffron colour 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Soaked rice 2 cups
Ghee | Butter 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Almonds 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts 2 tbsp
Raisins 1/2 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Sugar 1 & 1/2 cups
Method:
Soak 2 cups of rice. Boil water and add 1 cinnamon stick, cloves and saffron, then add the soaked rice. Boil the rice completely. Take 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add cardamom and dry fruit. Then add the milk and sugar. Then add the boiled rice and mix well. Let to simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with dry fruit and gulab jamuns.
